Conditions of Entry

There is NO limit to the number of entries, but each one must be attached to its own entry form.

Do not send original manuscripts, entries will not be returned. Entries will not be returned.

Work must be original and previously unpublished.

No entry fee is required and entry form needs to be signed by parent/guardian to verify that the entry is the author’s own original work.

Entries due by closing date on entry form.

Authors retain copyright over their work but authorise and license Pictures & Pages
a) for 24 months after receipt of entry, to publish entries in any Pictures & Pages publication, in newspapers, and radio for the purpose of promoting the Tenderfoot Scrawl competition.
b) to produce a book or booklet for sale for the promotion of the Tenderfoot Scrawl competition, without payment to the authors. Notification will be given to authors if work is selected.

Pictures & Pages reserves the right not to award prizes in any section at the discretion of the judges.

Winners will be personally notified and publicly announced the week after due date, on www.picturesandpages.com.au, Pictures & Pages email newsletter and social media.

In the event of a dispute arising regarding the interpretation of these conditions, the decision of the owners of Pictures & Pages shall be final and binding on all parties.

Pictures & Pages will take all reasonable care with material submitted but will not accept responsibility for loss while in transit or custody.
