All the colors of the rainbow are explored against the striking backdrop of two different worlds. Lyrical text tells the story of a girl who has moved from a farm into the city, and learns that color surrounds all of us, no matter where we live.
Sophie Masson was born in Indonesia of French parents and was brought up in France and Australia. A bilingual French and English speaker, she has a master's degree in French and English literature. Sophie is the prolific and award-winning author of more than fifty novels for children, young adults and adults, many of which have been published internationally. Two Rainbows is her first picture book. Sophie is Chair of the Australian Society of Authors, Chair of the New England Writers' Centre, President of the New England and North West sub-branch of the Children's Book Council of Australia, and has served on the Literature Board of the Australia Council and the Book Industry Collaborative Council. She is also currently a writer ambassador for Room to Read Australia. Michael McMahon grew up in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. He graduated from Swinburne University School of Design in 2009 with honours in Communication Design and currently works full-time as a freelance designer and illustrator. He collaborates with local studios on various projects ranging from branding, education and packaging to illustrated animations. Michael has been drawing ever since he could hold a pencil and often dreamt of one day publishing his very own books.
